Operational Ownership
J. Garrett Fletcher
President of Operations
J. Garrett Fletcher has a twenty-year track record of delivering award winning customer experiences in the ski and outdoor industries. As the president of operations for R & R Sports Colorado, Garrett uses his personal passion for skiing and years of firsthand operational knowledge to help connect people to the sports he loves. Garrett has worked directly with brands like Atomic to develop products that are important for both his customers and the sport of skiing at large. He has been featured in National Geographic, several global product catalogs, as well as local Colorado-based publications.
Garrett believes that attentiveness toward the customer, a fun work environment, and diverse product knowledge is paramount to a positive customer experience, which has helped Base Mountain Sports secure multiple Platinum Service Awards during his long tenure with the company. Garrett studied Political Science and Business at the University of Texas at Austin and is a genuine lover of the outdoors and the Colorado experience.
Colter Barnett
Director of Sales, Marketing, & Advertising
Colter Barnett began working for Base Mountain Sports immediately after graduating from University of Colorado at Boulder. Colter graduated with a degree in Communication in 2012. For R&R Sports Colorado, at Base Mountain Sports, he started out tuning and skiing as much as possible. Naturally, he took on more responsibility as the years passed. After 8 years of working through the ranks, from the tune shop to Director of Sales, Marketing and Advertising and every position in between, Colter assumed ownership. By working in every level of the business, Colter has been able to get a firm grasp on how to operate at a level that provides the highest quality of customer service and experience for every guest in an R&R Sports store!
Outside of the shop, Colter has spent as much time as possible skiing and snowboarding in the winter, as well as mountain biking and hiking in the summer. The love for the great outdoors and working in the outdoor industry has motivated him to continue to grow and flourish in the High Rockies, a place he never wishes to leave!
